Our Joomla Upgrade and Migration Process

We complete many Joomla upgrades, along with full migrations to update Joomla from older versions to the current series. Over the years, we've refined our processes to make the work more efficient and accurate.

The first step in an upgrade is project discovery. Often, the outdated Joomla site contains malicious files due to security vulnerabilities in older Joomla versions. Cleaning the malicious files is critical to the success of the upgrade.

Initially, we ask you to provide us with a superuser login and a login for the hosting control panel. Even with our investment in initial project discovery, unexpected issues can arise during development, impacting the final cost. How we handle this is to build some flexibility into our estimates. PSD To Joomla Templates

Over the years, we've built hundreds of Joomla templates, all custom-designed with no intrusive template framework. Your template will be developed from scratch, specifically for your design.

Slicing The PSD To HTML

The first step in creating your new template is to convert your Photoshop design to Responsive HTML. This ensures your website will look great on the widest range of devices, including mobile phones.

We code in HTML5, the current HTML standard. This markup language includes native support for multimedia content and scalable vector graphics (SVG), as well as form controls and other modern technologies.

Any design elements that can be rendered as CSS are prepared that way to decrease the use of unnecessary images. Your CSS will include all standard elements like headings, block quotes, web-safe fonts, list items, and buttons needed to create great-looking content on your website.

We'll also add any jQuery scripts needed to bring your design to life. Sliders, parallax, drop menus, accordions, and other dynamic elements from your design will all be included in your template files.

Conversion Of HTML To Joomla Template
